With five gen­er­a­tions of con­trac­tors in Col­orado, dat­ing back to 1913, we under­stand Col­orado, we under­stand qual­ity, and we under­stand cus­tomer ser­vice. Our founders have experience in mod­ern build­ing sci­ence and believe in delivering old-fashioned qual­ity and service.

Low Energy Homes works on the premise that a home is meant to be built right and to last for generations. That’s why all of our homes are produced with high-quality materials and are carefully thought out. Our base model homes are built with the same care and attention as the highest-end models. 

Based in Fort Mor­gan, Col­orado, Low Energy Homes is owned and run by the Smith fam­ily who have a work­ing knowl­edge of agri­cul­tural, com­mer­cial, and res­i­den­tial needs. As a small, fam­ily busi­ness, you can rest assured know­ing you’ll have a working relationship with the same people who will be at your job site.
